Jesús Augusto Sarcos Romero: Juan Mata, about to Renew with United
EFE | LONDON.- Spanish soccer player Juan
Mata said on Saturday that he is in conversations with the Manchester
United about his contract with the ‘Red Devils’, which ends at the
completion of this season.
“It is true that I finish contract. It is true that
we are in conversations to determine it, but I think that right now, is not
the moment to think about individualities. What is going to happen it
simply will be,” explained the Spaniard in the mixed zone of Craven Cottage,
where the United won 0-3 at Fulham.
During the victory, Mata was the first to say that Ole
Gunnar Solskjaer is “using almost all the players” because they are having
many matches at this part of the year.
“We have a complicated but exciting and promising
month. February is going to be complicated, but we face it with great
enthusiasm. This match does not matter anymore on Tuesday,” he added.
On Tuesday, the United will face Paris Saint
Germain in the first going match round of sixteen of the Champions
League, to which the Englishmen will arrive in a ten-match winning streak
of eleven matches.
“Two months ago things were not going very well, and
first it seemed very difficult to get to positions ‘Champions’ in the Premier, in
which we already are. The PSG, being better or worse, is a fantastic team,
with individuals that can break the knockout stages. We will have to be at
our best level to win,” argued the Spanish midfielder.
