Jesus Augusto Sarcos Romero: Silva Is at His Greatest Moment

DOHA.- Criticized in recent seasons, Thiago Silva, Paris Saint Germain’s captain considers that at 34 years old is “at the greatest moment” of his career.

“I have had good times during my career, but at this age… is simply my best. You keep having the quality and have the experience. And when you put them together, you boost your level,” said the Brazilian defender who has performed very well this season, as he did in the victory match against Liverpool in the first phase of the Champion League.

The Brazilian assured that despite of his 34 years, he still has things to learn. “In every minute of every training session, I try to improve and to play each match at a very, very high level. With experience, it is easier,” he confessed.

With the arrival of experienced players such as, Gianluigi Buffon, who has joined stars such, Neymar, Mbappé or Cavani, Silva believes that the current Paris Saint Germain is the strongest team since his arrival at the French entity in 2012. Besides, he stated that they are to fight the Champions.
