England. - The full back Joel Matip will lose the rest of the season with Liverpool F.C. after suffering an injury in the thigh that will require surgery.

Matip was injured in the win 2-1 of Liverpool F.C. against Crystal Palace in a Premier League match last Saturday, even if he could play all the match.

Liverpool F.C. informed on Tuesday that the Cameroonian player must go through surgery in order to “correct the problem,” something that probably means the end of his season.
